Celebrate the summer solstice with TCPL and the USACE Green River Lake with Midsomer at the Lake Saturday, June 20, at 9 AM. Meet us at the Green River Visitors Center to begin the morning. The address is 544 Lake Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

Event Schedule
9 AM: Yoga* with Moon On Main Studio OR explore the Green River Visitors Center
10 AM: Light breakfast + Nature Journal
10:30 AM: Walk the Trails

⚠️🌊 Drowning doesn’t look like it does in the movies.

It can happen in as little as 30 seconds for children and 60 seconds for many adults, often silently—even close to shore.

👀 Around 40% of drownings are witnessed. Most of the time, others may be nearby but don’t realize someone is in trouble.

Learn the 4 signs of drowning:
🔹 Head back
🔹 Mouth open
🔹 Not yelling or calling for help
🔹 Arms slapping the water surface (not waving around)

🦺 Most importantly, always wear a life jacket to avoid an accident becoming a tragedy.

📢 Boating Access Notice - Temporary Closure of Site 1 and Smith Ridge Boats 🚤

Please be advised that the USACE-managed boat ramps at Site 1 and Smith Ridge will be temporarily closed June 15–19, 2026 while crews seal and stripe the parking lots in these areas. 🚧

⚠️ This work is weather dependent. Therefore, if rain occurs, the closure may be postponed.

💙🌊 To honor Andy, please wear a life jacket when boating to increase your chances of surviving carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

🛥️ Boaters should:
✅ Use a marine CO detector
✅ Seat children in the forward-most seating on a boat
✅ Avoid idling and exposure to emissions from other boats
✅ Always maintain fresh air circulation
