We have been getting several calls from inmates families the last several days stating that they are being contacted by someone stating they are a deputy and they need to bring a certain amount of money to bond their family members out of jail. These individuals are telling family members to go to cvs and Kroger and put money on a card to bond there family member out of jail. This is a SCAM!! We just wanted the public to be aware of this. The Taylor County Detention Center will not contact family members about bond information.
