Kentucky Chamber PAC Endorses MARK GILKISON for State Representative District 47 in 2026 Primary Election
Bedford , KY — The Kentucky Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Mark Gilkison for State Representative District 47 in the upcoming primary election on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Candidates endorsed by the Kentucky Chamber PAC have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing policies that support job growth, economic development, and a higher quality of life for Kentucky families and businesses.
“I'm honored to receive the endorsement of the Kentucky Chamber PAC for the 2026 primary and appreciate their recognition of my commitment to strengthening our economy and supporting Kentucky employers. As a small business owner for over 30 years right here in District 47, I know firsthand what it takes to create jobs, grow our local economy, and support the hardworking businesses that are the backbone of Henry, Carroll, Owen, and Trimble counties.”
The Kentucky Chamber PAC evaluates candidates based on their understanding of key business issues, past voting records, and responses to the organization’s 2026 legislative candidate survey.
Only candidates who completed the Kentucky Chamber PAC’s legislative candidate survey and are participating in contested primary races were considered for endorsement. Additional endorsements for the general election will be considered later this year.
The Kentucky Chamber PAC is the independent political arm of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest broad-based business organization.
