Did you know that the West Washington School Corporation continues to perform well above the state average on state assessments. Along with outperforming area schools, our Senator Students also outperform affluent and much larger school corporations from across the state.
At West Washington we understand that the well rounded education we provide is more than a test score. That is why we focus on providing great supports for students, stellar athletic programs and a robust offering of extracurricular activities for students. But, we also understand that our primary focus is the academic achievement and growth of each individual child.
Our administrators and teachers work diligently to ensure we are providing the best curriculum utilizing the best instructional practices. Our focus on instruction and learning does not overshadow our goal to create a learning environment where kids feel safe, welcomed and loved.
When we receive our final results from the state assessments it affirms that our practices are effective and the environment we foster allows our students to learn in a fun and safe school culture.

5th Grade Language Arts- 5th in the State
5th Grade Math- 3rd in the State
5th Grade Social Studies- 4th in the State
3rd Grade Language Arts- 7th in the State
