We have gotten reports that there is a person identifying himself as a Firefighter and driving irresponsibly while using emergency lights. As you well know this is a huge safety concern for us and for the public on the roads as well.
The alleged person has been known to drive a small blue car and a silver car and lives in or near Campbell.
He also apparently has had or somehow received 1 or more local Fire Department shirts.
We did confirm today that be is NOT a member of ANY Fire Department or Law Enforcement in Dunklin County.
The Police and Prosecutors office are aware of this and are investigating these incidents and hoping to catch him in the act. If anyone sees this happening please contact the Campbell Police Dept. or Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department.
We are not releasing any names, because these incidents are under investigation at this time.

Good Afternoon Heartland. After morning storms that produced an amazing shelf cloud, thanks for all the photos, we are monitoring an outflow boundary left from morning storms. Storms will like explode along and south of this boundary during the afternoon hours. At this time it appears the storms will miss most of the Heartland. There is a chance a few could clip our southwestern counties but areas north of the boundary are capped, meaning the severe weather threat is low.
