BID NOTICE

The City of Campbell, MO is seeking bids for the on-site er****on of an airport hangar building according to manufacturer’s specifications. All framing and parts will be provided. The successful bidder will be required to provide sufficient labor and appropriate tools and equipment to complete the project.

The manufacturer’s specifications are on file with the Office of the City Clerk. If you would like to view the jobsite and/or inspect the materials prior to placing a bid, please contact the City Clerk to make arrangements.

The completed Bids will be accepted until 5:00 PM August 8, 2025. The bids can be mailed or hand delivered to Campbell City Hall. The bids will be opened at the monthly meeting of the City’s Board of Alderman on August 11, 2025. The City of Campbell reserves the right to reject any/all bids.

Successful bidder shall maintain liability insurance ($1,000,000 minimum). Certificates of Insurance shall be filed with the City prior to the commencement of this Contract showing Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance. The City shall be named as additional named insured on Contractor's policy along with endorsement

The proof of insurance will not be required until the signing of the contract.

NOTICE

The City of Campbell has an ordinance which allows fireworks to be discharged within the city limits of Campbell between the dates of June 20th and July 4th each year. The dates and times fireworks can be discharged are June 20th through July 3rd from 10am to 10:30pm and July 4th from 10am to 11:00pm.

The City of Campbell, Missouri is accepting applications for a professional bookkeeping service for preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciling cash accounts, and generating the end of the year detailed general ledger. All applications should be turned in to the City Hall at 302 West Grand Avenue, Campbell, Missouri by 4pm on June 20th, 2025.

Maple Street Bridge update: repairs are pushed back an additional week due to weather and a culvert that was ordered not arriving yet. We appreciate your patience during this repair. Just know that we are working as swiftly as possible to rectify this.

This month's water bills were mailed before the end of April, however, the postal system has lost them. You can call city hall to find out amount due on your bill. 573-246-2541
Water bills are due by the 15th of each month to avoid penalty.

Due to the weather and Spring clean-up the Maple Street bridge repair is taking longer than expected. The goal is to have it completed within the next week.

Due to the weather, there were a few places missed on the city wide clean up. We are aware of those locations and will be picking those places up on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Do NOT set additional trash out to be picked up. There will be another clean up date announced in the fall.
If you need bulky items picked up please call City Hall and they will put you on a list. There will be a fee assessed after today.

Items can not be set out for city-wide cleanup after Friday, May 2nd at noon. If you need additional items picked up after that time you should call the City Hall at 573-246-2541. There will be a charge to pick up items after that date/time.

We are planning an additional city-wide cleanup in the fall. We will announce the date at a later time.

REMINDER:

Annual Spring Cleanup will be held during the week of April 29th-May 2nd. Pickup will begin at 6am and continue throughout the day, rain or shine. All items for pickup will need to be set next to the street by 6am. The pickup is for bulky items only and does not include regular trash disposal. Appliances must have compressors, electrical motor, and all hoses removed. Some items which CANNOT be picked up include tires, yard waste, batteries, oil, wet paint, compressed gas cylinders, flammables and steel pipes. Do NOT set out items for pickup before Saturday, April 26th. Limit to one truckload per household and additional truckloads will incur additional fees.
