Please join us Saturday, 5/30 at 11:00 am for a live screening of the film “Kintsukuroi.” With a stroke of his pen President Roosevelt destroyed the lives of 120,000 Japanese Americans at the onset of World War II. From the windswept prison camps of the American West to the battlefields of Europe, "Kintsukuroi" follows the lives of two of those families who lost everything except their dignity.

There will be a live screening of the film as well as a Q & A with the cast and crew following the movie. This program is part of Santa Clara County’s celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and One Book, One Coast.

We have an assortment of programs, performances, and more planned throughout the day. Come on by to explore our new building and expanded collection!

We're having a party and you're invited. Join us this Sat., May 9 at 10 AM at the reopening of the Campbell Library. 77 Harrison Ave., Campbell.

We have a full day of activities planned, starting with lion dancers at 9:45AM to greet everyone who comes early. After a brief welcome the doors will open shortly after 10!

Stay for a special storytime with Elephant and Piggie, who will stay for pictures after. There will also be a bubble show and a concert featuring funk, jazz, soul and R&B.

Adults might be interested in a tour of the new library to learn about the many interesting features. Or see for yourself. The abundance of natural lighting is a big change.

Make sure to go up to the second floor to check out the Overlook, where the community room is located. There are great views of the Orchard City View from there.

The library will be open Saturday until 6PM, and Sunday as well! Campbell Library will be open every day of the week. Find their new hours at sccld.org/locations/.
