The Town of Camp Hill Planning Committee meets today in the library at 10am.
Committee meetings are open to the public, and your participation is welcome and encouraged.
The focus of Planning is bringing new business to town to provide more jobs and tax revenue to improve living conditions for everyone in town. And to create a positive atmosphere for new start-ups by people already here.
The near-term goal of Trade Days is to raise money for a lighted sign to advertise events to increase their attendance (Trade Days, Parks events, Alumni ball games, Men of Honor / Queens of Distinction / Women in Action events, and more).
Come see for yourself what your town government is trying to do for you, and weigh in on the decision making.

Every 2nd Saturday, the Town of Camp Hill holds its Trade Days. Come sell stuff, buy stuff, get something to eat. There are local vendors, and some of your favorite vendors from Santuck, Smith Station, Loachapoka.
This is an effort by the Town of Camp Hill - profits go to the library, parks & recreation, and to advertise to promote new business here (start-ups by locals as well as businesses that want to move here).
The Men of Honor community group is running things--the gossip that one of the town committee members was running the Camp Hill Flea Market as his own for-profit was an outright lie. So the name was changed to Trade Days (not as old fashioned or cheap sounding) and new faces represent the effort.
Trade Days is every 2nd Saturday at the old Camp Hill airport, just above Dollar General on the same side of New 280. Vendor space is 10.00. From 30 minutes after daylight until 2pm. Come on out.
Contact Larry Cooper to reserve a vendor spot.

They will leave the airport about 9am Monday, headed west on 89 past Roxana and onward to Montgomery.
