Starting this Tuesday, 6/2, our Compost Program is officially open for the season!

This is one of our favorite ongoing efforts to keep Market on Market, and our wider Camp Hill community, a little greener and a little more sustainable each year.

We will be accepting egg shells, fruit, and vegetable scraps only. Please note that no animal byproducts, cooked foods, or yard waste can be accepted.

All compost collected goes straight to our lovely flower vendor, Christine of Little Swatara Creek Flowers, where it’s transformed into the rich soil that helps grow the bouquets you take home each week. It’s a full‑circle moment we’re proud to support.

Bring your scraps, support sustainability, and help us keep this community blooming!

Show a volunteer at the Market Information Booth your purchase from any vendor, and you’ll receive a raffle ticket for that month’s drawing. One purchase = one ticket each week… for June, that's five chances to win!

It’s our way of adding a little extra fun to your Tuesdays and saying thank you for showing up for our local makers, bakers, growers, and creators.
