The weather that came thru our area has made for a busy day for us here at the FD. There is more weather coming into our area in the early morning hours, please drive with caution as the roads are wet, there is standing water on the roadway in areas and you never know if there is a tree down across the road just around that curve.

Tonight we will be conducting our annual vehicle extraction training. We will be conducting this training at the old airport in Camp Hill @ 630 if you are interested in joining the department and you want to get a little taste of what it is we do please come on out and check us out.

Tonight firefighters certified in CPR. High-Quality CPR saves lives. Tonight’s training was instructed by Paramedic zackary Tines. training lasted approximately 4 hrs and the guys are current on their cpr certification.

A year ago The Camp Hill Volunteer Fire Department had 4 members. Today we have over 15 and with the help of Shinbone Valley Vol. Fire Dept. And the Alabama Project every member is suited with gear and ready to respond to the next emergency.

The average price for head to toe turnout gear is around $3,500 per person. Donations like this provide smaller departments the ability to safely and efficiently serve their community.
