Today we went on a local peanut tour. We explored a peanut field, were shown how they start as seed, how they grow in rows, how to plow them, along with seeing a peanut picker in action. We then went to the buying point and explored there and learned how they dry them, clean them, and ship them. All of this talk of peanuts made us hungry so we finished the day with a meal at DQ. A special thank you to Adam Curles and Devlin Warren for hosting us today. 🥜
