Soroptimist means "best for women" and we strive to be an organization of women at their best helping other women to be their best.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement that works to transform the lives of girls and women locally, nationally, and internationally by increasing their educational opportunities and empowering them to live their dreams. Soroptimist is an international women's organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities an

d throughout the world. Roughly 72,000 Soroptimists in more than 120 countries contribute time and financial support to community–based and international projects that benefit women and girls. As dedicated business and professional women, we feel uniquely qualified to help women and girls live their dreams. Throughout history and to this day, women have faced obstacles solely because of their gender. They disproportionately suffer from poverty and discrimination. It’s for this reason that Soroptimist, an organization of, by, and for women, chooses to focus on the special challenges facing women and girls. Soroptimist International is divided by regions. Thank you Cameron Park Country Club for hosting a very successful 2025 Fashion Show, proceeds will go towards helping victims of s*x trafficking, scholarships and helping mothers further their education.

At the Community Festival at Burke Junction last weekend, together with other non profits and local merchants.

Our club donated $2500 to buy shoes for homeless students at the Rescue School District. So many shoes!! It’s a feel good moment.

Our club will have a booth at this event with 3 Strands Global also Sally A Marshall Art, along with many other local crafts. Activities and food.
