FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CAMDENTON, MO — The City of Camdenton advises residents that City Hall and the Police Facility will be without telephone and internet service on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

During this time, only cash or check payments will be accepted, as electronic payment processing will be unavailable due to the service interruption. Residents who need to make payments are encouraged to plan accordingly.

In case of emergency please dial 9-1-1. If you need the Police for anything other than an emergency during this time you may walk-in or call the Sheriff’s Department non-emergency line at 573-346-2243.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this temporary interruption.

During today’s Homecoming Parade, a small fire broke out in one of the vehicles in the parade. School Resource Officer Jessica Baughman jumped into action, grabbed a fire extinguisher and quickly put it out.

Everyone was safe, and the situation was handled quickly thanks to her fast response.

Thank you, Officer Baughman, for always looking out for our Lakers and being ready to step up when it matters most. A parade day hero!
