Fatherhood is one of the greatest blessings and one of the greatest responsibilities God gives a man.

As the father of six children and a proud godfather to our goddaughter, Trinity, I have learned that being a father is about much more than providing for a family.

It is about leading by example, teaching right from wrong, showing both strength and compassion, and helping young people build a foundation of faith, character, and integrity that will guide them throughout their lives.

Children learn far more from what they see than from what they hear. As fathers, we have a responsibility to live the values we hope to pass on—honesty, hard work, respect for others, and faith in God. The example we set today will help shape the next generation tomorrow.

I was blessed to learn many of these lessons from my own father. Though he is no longer with us, the values he taught and the example he set continue to influence me as a husband, father, and grandfather.

His legacy lives on through the lives he helped shape.

Fatherhood is not always easy, but it is one of life's most important callings. It is a responsibility entrusted to us by God, and one that deserves our very best every day.

Today, I am thankful for fathers everywhere who are investing their time, love, and wisdom into their children and families.

Happy Father's Day.

Thank you to the Town of Bearden, the festival organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who made this event possible.

We were especially grateful for the recognition of our first responders and veterans, whose service and sacrifice deserve our deepest respect.

We enjoyed visiting with friends, neighbors, and families from across Ouachita County while sharing information, handing out flags, pinwheels, campaign materials, and plenty of frozen treats.

A special thank you to our friend Shadia for the brownies, cookies, and rice crispy treats that quickly became a crowd favorite!

Most of all, thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit, ask questions, and share your thoughts about the future of Ouachita County. Your encouragement, support, and friendship mean more than you know.

We are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.

I was honored to represent Ouachita County at the Republican Party of Arkansas State Convention this weekend.

It was a great opportunity to meet with fellow Republicans from across our state, hear new ideas, and continue learning how we can better serve our community.

Thank you for your support.

Good roads don't happen by accident. They require planning, accountability, and smart use of taxpayer dollars.

I believe Ouachita County should take a data-driven approach to managing and maintaining our road system.

By using modern road asset management tools, we can better assess road conditions, prioritize repairs, plan future improvements, and make informed budgeting decisions.

My goal is not just to fix today's problems, but to build a long-term strategy that helps us maintain safer, stronger roads for years to come.

The people of Ouachita County deserve leadership that plans ahead, uses resources wisely, and focuses on practical solutions.

Strong roads. Smart planning. A stronger Ouachita County.

I believe the people who serve Ouachita County every day deserve a fair and objective review of county compensation.

As County Judge, I would support an independent assessment to evaluate positions, compare them with similar-sized counties and communities, and develop a responsible plan that works within our budget.

My goal is simple: make decisions based on facts, treat employees fairly, be responsible with taxpayer dollars, and build a stronger county for the future.

Good data. Strong planning. Better decisions for Ouachita County.

Real leadership is not about words — it is about vision, service, and the willingness to do the work that moves a county forward.

The Roadside Roots Program is one example of how small, practical ideas can create long-term benefits for Ouachita County through conservation, community involvement, and smarter use of resources.

I believe character is shown through actions, and I will continue working toward solutions that strengthen our county for future generations.

This Memorial Day, I pause to remember the men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

As a veteran, this day has always meant more than a long weekend or a ceremony. It is a time to remember brothers and sisters in uniform who never made it home to their families. Men and women whose sacrifice secured the freedoms we often take for granted.

Some names and faces stay with you forever.

I ask everyone to take a moment to honor those who paid the ultimate price for this nation.

Pray for the families who carry that loss every day, and never forget that freedom has never been free.

We remember them.

We honor them and we will never let their sacrifice be forgotten.
