You never know who you are going to meet, but it's always good to run into Littles all grown up! Our program manager, Jen, needed a coffee fix on her recent visit to Beverly Hills and ran into...

Dorian, Pictured here, was a BBBS little brother starting in the program at 8 years old. He lived with his mom, with no father or significant male influence in his life until he was matched with a big brother.

His big brother worked for NASA and would have all sorts of interesting projects for them to do together. He is very grateful for the time and care of his big brother. Dorian immediately recognized the logo on Jen's merch, and was happy to tell his story!

GO BATES! Congratulations to the Bates College field Hockey Team for making the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 2nd straight year.

Special congratulations to our Bates Big Sisters in the program and on the team: Elena, Summer, Brooke and Eva. Thank you for being a mentor and provide sensitive support and positive friendship to a local child. Good luck in the tournament!

Kylie Rosenquest scored in the 63rd minute on an assist from Reagan Malo as the No. 11 nationally ranked Bates field hockey team fell in overtime Sunday by a score of 2-1 to No. 3 Tufts in the NCAA quarterfinals.

High Jinks in the world of national politics, maybe...

But we still have to go to work! Our Lewiston Project Manger, Jen, was in a bit of a pickle yesterday when her computer went "wonky" (Its a technical term).

Faced with a full day and evening of Zooming with Bigs and conducting interviews, she was stuck...until....

A huge thank you to Jason and The Computer Place, Inc. for coming to her rescue- fixing her computer this morning. This was done right away so she could get back to Big interviews, trainings and other BBBS support work. He un-wonked it. Thank you Jason!
