We're grateful Connor Howland came home for the weekend to help represent Camden Fire & EMS and the generation of first responders who were born post-911.

Good morning Camden. It's 450am on Thursday, September 10, 2026. We have a road closure you should be aware of.

Mountain Street/Route 52 is closed between Grove Street and Trim Street because of a water main break. The road is impassable. A Maine Water Company worker was heard saying: "This is the worst one I have seen."

You will have to detour around the area. Please plan a little extra time this morning. Drive slowly through the residential streets on your drive around AND watch for students walking to the middle school.

Congratulations to Firefighter/EMT Derek Jay on successfully completing the NFPA Fire Inspector I testing process.

This certification helps provide credibility to our Life Safety Code inspections. During "downtime" when not responding to incidents, we inspect all assembly spaces, restaurants, and lodging facilities for safety code compliance.

Protecting the safety of our community and ensuring its economic vitality. That is what we are here for.
