One of CCLSJ's youngest clients stopped by our Bridgeton office to show off his brand new documents to his legal team, which he received through our pro-bono youth legal services program. CCLSJ participates in a state-wide grant from Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) and the NJ Department of Human Services Office of New Americans, which provides free legal services to young migrants living in NJ who came to the United States as unaccompanied minors (without their mom or dad). This kiddo has already had quite the journey and we can't wait to see what lies ahead for him!❤️🤍💙

Thank you once again to the Catholic Star Herald for spotlighting more of CCLSJ's work in the community.

Our Youth Legal Services team held a community event in Lindenwold for migrant youth and their families. Besides giving a presentation on Immigrant Rights, CCLSJ also provided lunch, backpacks, school supplies, activity bags, diapers, wipes, and gift cards to all who attended.

CCLSJ wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended today’s information session on the next steps for Afghan Asylees.

During this event, we were able to provide crucial information on the necessary steps to be taken after asylum status is granted. Your participation and engagement made this session a success!

A special thank you to our dedicated volunteers and the supportive community, especially our friends at Catholic Charities of South Jersey. Your efforts truly make a difference, and together, we continue to support and uplift our Afghan friends and neighbors.
