This morning Benton County had its annual pump test for the apparatus, we’re happy to announce all trucks from the Sandy River Fire Department passed with flying colors. Thank you Bob Dudley for coming out today and helping with this.

Around 12:30 Sandy River FD was requested to assist Henry Fire along with other agencies on a commercial structure fire.

Sandy River arrived on scene at 13:00 to provide manpower and water support and cleared the scene around 01:00.

We are incredibly proud of our members and all the other firefighters who relentlessly worked to contain and extinguish this fire for 12 hours continuously.

We truly do have some of the best, who are willing to assist other departments outside of our jurisdiction and outside of our county

According to County Mayor Mark Ward, FEMA will be at the 9-1-1 office located at 1655 Hwy. 70 W. in Camden, on Monday morning, April 27 at 9 a.m., to help those affected during Winter Storm Fern. Please bring detailed information and pictures to file a claim.
