A heartfelt thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for spotlighting our agency this week! We appreciate the opportunity to share who we are, what we do, and the important work happening every day at the Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs.

💙 We are here to serve our community!

Our mission is to support individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities throughout Kershaw County by providing opportunities that promote independence, inclusion, personal growth, and meaningful participation in our community.

We are especially proud of our robust Day Services Department, which provides a variety of meaningful work, training, and personal-development opportunities, including:

We’re shining a spotlight on one of the organizations working every day to make Kershaw County a more inclusive and supportive community.💙

The Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs is dedicated to serving citizens of Kershaw County with intellectual and other lifelong disabilities, with a mission centered around inclusion, support, and opportunity for individuals and their families.

💙 Services Provided Include💙

• Case Management & Service Coordination
• Early Intervention
• Residential Services for Adults
• Day Services for Adults

Their comprehensive services support individuals and families affected by intellectual disabilities, autism, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and related disabilities.

We are proud to have the Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs as a Chamber member and grateful for the difference they make in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.
