Due to the threat of inclement weather, we regret to inform you that Safety Day in Wilcox County, scheduled for May 7, 2026, at the Camden Municipal Airport, has been canceled.
While we understand the anticipation surrounding this event, the safety and well-being of our children, volunteers, and community members must always come first. With the potential for hazardous weather conditions, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel rather than risk unsafe travel or outdoor exposure.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support, participation, and commitment to making Safety Day a success each year. Your dedication to educating and protecting our youth does not go unnoticed.
We will share updates regarding a possible rescheduled date or future events as soon as they become available.
