🎤 There seems to have been a mic-drop moment on the Senate floor today during the redistricting debate.

Senator Shane Massey raised questions about the map passed by the House, saying it includes inaccurate precinct boundaries — and even precincts that no longer exist.

Meanwhile, the Senate voted to return Sunday at 2 p.m. to continue debate.

That drew vocal objections from Senator Darrell Jackson, who also serves as pastor of Bible Way Church of Atlas Road. Jackson called the move unprecedented, saying the Senate did not return on Sundays for the thousand-year flood or even major pro-life legislation.
