It’s best for children with significant behavioral health needs to grow and heal in a family setting rather than in a group home or residential facility. Treatment foster families receive specialized training, 24/7 on-call support, and crisis counseling to help them provide the stability and care all children need and deserve.

Through service coordination, families can get the right support when navigating multiple systems, making it easier to access the help they need.

Family Connects Ohio is a program designed to support families with newborns before the 6-week postpartum follow-up. A nurse will come to your home to check on the health and well-being of both you and your baby, guiding you through those first crucial weeks.

Whether you're navigating feeding, healing, sleep, or mood changes, Family Connects Ohio brings the support to you. 👶💖

✅ Available to all Guernsey County families with or expecting a newborn regardless of income or birth setting✅ Scheduled from 2 weeks postpartum up to 12 weeks✅ Personalized to your family’s needs and concerns
