1st Annual Cambridge TrailsFest 2026

Please join us for the first ever Cambridge TrailsFest hosted by the Cambridge Conservation Commission in concert with many local town groups and organizations. This weekend-long community celebration will highlight Cambridge's incredible trails, conserved land, and outdoor spaces, with opportunities to hike, explore, and learn through guided activities, family-friendly programming, and more. The weekend will wrap up with a community kickball game and potluck celebration on Sunday afternoon at the CES community pavilion.

Raffle prizes include: Smuggs Bash Badge, a 1-hour ski & snowboard lesson at Smuggs, disc golf merch, a reusable foodware kit & logo T-shirt from the Conservation Commission, a nature-based toy bundle, and more!

Schedule of Events (subject to change):
Saturday
All day: Local Trails Scavenger Hunt
10 am- 12 pm: Hike the Bormann property (new additional land) on the Krusch Preserve
12 pm- 1 pm: Mountain biking on the Brewster Midlands
1:30 pm- 3:30 pm: Poetry walk on the Brewster Uplands Pond Loop Trail

Sunday
All day: Local Trails Scavenger Hunt
10 am- 11 am: Alden Bryan Brewster River Trail hike - Edwards Road
10 am- 12 pm: Labyrinth Meditation walk at the Krusch Preserve
12:30 pm- 2 pm: Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at the elementary school
2 pm- 4 pm: Kickball game at the elementary school
4 pm- 6 pm: Community potluck gathering and raffle draw at CES Pavilion

We’ve planned a weekend-long community celebration to highlight Cambridge's incredible trails, conserved land, and outdoor spaces, with opportunities to hike, explore, and learn through guided activities, family-friendly programming, and more.

The weekend will wrap up with a community kickball game and potluck celebration on Sunday afternoon at the Cambridge community pavilion.

A home base tent will be stationed at the Cambridge Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Stop by for info, merch, peep the raffles, and see what we're up to!

It’s a beautiful day to get out and green it up before the rain! the meadow trail and pond loop have been hit— the remaining Brewster trails could use some love.
find us at the Cambridge Community Center this Saturday from 9-1. Stop in before your route for coffee & donuts— and after for hot dogs and a bounce house brought to you by the Trails Committee, Cambridge Rotary, Jeff. Farmers Market, Cambridge 360 & us!
