Join us on June 20th to sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge and enjoy a Crow Party here at the library!
Dr. Samantha Peck has a Ph.D from Cornell University, and has studied songbirds, parrots, and crows! Join us for a birdy conversation, to hear some of her favorite stories about the incredibly intelligent behaviors of crows, ravens, and other brainy birds, and get all of your most burning bird questions answered! Stay after the discussion to decorate your very own trinket box and fill it with treasures from the trinket table. Bring in a cool button, shiny rock, a random key or any other little treasures that you have to share!!
This is an ALL AGES event, free and open to all!

Just a heads up, there is no food delivery for the Farm 2 Library this week. We are so sorry for the inconvenience to those who really rely on it. Comfort Food Community will begin distribution again next week! 🥺❤️

As a reminder, we will be taking a brief pause on programming during this week of 6/8 so our staff can take time to plan, reflect, and strategize on how to better serve the community.

As a result, there will not be a Hub tour this month, the Greenwich Pantry and the Cossayuna Pantry will be closed, and there will be no Farm 2 Library or Farm 2 Pantry distributions. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to being back in full action on 6/15!

Monthly Board of Trustees Meeting Rescheduled:
The Library Board of Trustees Meeting has been rescheduled from the 3rd Tuesday of June to June 9th, 2026 at 9:30 AM to accommodate a mandatory Trustee Training Workshop. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Friends of Cambridge Public Library will begin selling raffle tickets for a George Van Hook painting, "May Cast", TODAY. Use the QR code to purchase a ticket on-line or swing by the library to purchase one in person. Your $50 could help us purchase 4 children's books for our collection, or 2 adult books. $100 could help us purchase additional Museum Passes for lending or help purchase the bricks needed to repair the chimney on our historic building. There are so many ways that Friends of Cambridge Public Library help to keep our little library the wonderful place that is!

Stop by Cambridge Public Library on Saturday June 6, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to craft with us. Create a simple hot air balloon ornament in the new Reading Room. Fun and free for all ages!
