Final field days! Last week, we visited Adam Birding Conservancy to learn about the area's history and wildlife. While there, we observed rare Yellow-Headed Blackbirds, a swan, pelicans, and osprey.

Then on Wednesday, we headed to Kohler-Andrae State Park for our annual year-end beach day. It was a little chilly, but a few hardy students braved the 50-degree water. The rest of us enjoyed playing in the sand, relaxing, or hiking on the boardwalk through the dunes.

Congratulations to KT senior Ivan McIntyre and his band Take Back The Sun, who are having a winning week! Ivan graduates on Friday, but not before playing at the World's Largest Brat Fest between rehearsal and the real thing. Plus, the band won two WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) awards and was selected for Rockonsin! We're proud to have been a small part of the journey. 🎸🎓

It's a bittersweet week here at KT. 🌱💙

Yesterday, to kick off Graduation Week, our seniors, with help from Mr. Gould, planted their senior tree, a Toka Plum, in the Severson Learning Center Food Forest. A living reminder of the roots they've grown here.

Tomorrow, we celebrate the Class of 2026 at our annual Ice Cream Social & Senior Send-Off. And on Friday, we officially say congratulations and goodbye at graduation.

We are so proud of this incredible group of seniors. Koshkonong Trails Class of 2026, you will be missed.
