Cassell Station sprayed the kids from Pike School for their last day of school today. Big thank you to all the firefighter guys and gals for helping out!! Thank you to Zemba for supplying the water. And thank you to Sgt Carpenter from the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office for coming out to assist the kids crossing the road safely. Hope everyone has a great and safe summer!

After yesterday’s election results, we at Cassell Station would like to assure the community that we will continue to do what we have been doing since we bought our first ambulance 4 years ago as I’m sure every other volunteer service in the county will do! We all take our commitment to our community and county as a whole very seriously and will continue to do so. I would personally like to thank everyone who supports our Fire/EMS department and additionally like to thank everyone throughout the county who supports your local volunteer department! Cassell Station was called to an occupied house fire early this morning! On arrival heavy fire we had heavy fire coming from the house! Mutual aid was called! A quick transitional attack by crews successfully extinguished the fire however the home sustained heavy damage! All occupants and pets are safe!Thank you to New Concord FD, Cambridge FD, Byesville FD, Liberty FD, Cumberland FD, United Ambulance and aThe Red Cross for all their assistance!

Cassell Station and Liberty Fire Departments partnered with Kentucky Fried Chicken to collect toys for Secret Santa of Guernsey County. Thank you to everyone that participated for this great cause. All toys that were collected will be used to make children's Christmas a special day. Merry Christmas!!
