Today our Kiwanis Club heard from our 95th District State Representative Ty Moore. Sharing his story starting with his roots that run deep in Noble County, his first elected role as a Noble County Commissioner, and his new position representing our area at the state; Ty expressed his gratitude for being the voice of the people. Ty reflected back on the values instilled in him by his family members and how he believes in leaving things better than he found them. As our State Representative Ty welcomes conversations with communities and hearing first hand from voters. Ty’s commitment to channeling resources to the 95th District brings hope for changes that impact our area positively. He fielded tough questions from the crowd on current hot topics with honesty and transparency. In his words, “someone has to be the greasy wheel that keeps issues at the forefront”. Ty is willing and honored to represent the area as someone who grew up here, raised a family here, and wants to ensure we aren’t forgotten. Club President Tacy Bates posed with Ty Moore as he wrapped up the meeting and shared his message on the value of meeting people where they are, setting foot in each community, and representing us fully in Columbus. Local Service Clubs are invited to join the Kiwanis Club of Cambridge in welcoming State Representative Ty Moore as our April 7th speaker. Starting at noon, spend the lunch hour hearing more on topics that impact our area.
