Clerk of Courts Title Office Notice:
The Guernsey County Title Office will be CLOSED on June 9, 2026 from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. The Clerk of Courts Title staff will be in training with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft. The training will last three hours and will provide an understanding of proper procedures involved in the issuing of watercraft registrations.

Once the training is completed by staff and the contract is fully executed, the Clerk of Courts Title Office will become a registration agent to issue watercraft registrations.

The pledge of the Clerk of Courts is to provide quality service with efficiency and courtesy.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Please Share
The Guernsey County Auto/Title Department will be CLOSED tomorrow, April 23rd. Title staff will be attending a Title Seminar provided by the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Our amazing title staff will be back in the office on Friday and ready to serve.

Due to inclement weather the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court - General Division will be closed on Monday, January 26th 2026. All hearings are canceled and will be rescheduled.

This includes the Guernsey County Clerk of Courts Offices:
Legal Office
Title Office
BMV Office

SYSTEM UPDATE at 3:30 pm:
Our system is finally operational, and we can now process services.

The Guernsey County Title and BMV offices are currently unable to provide services.

An IT Team has been dispatched to address the situation - we will update you when our systems are back up and running.
