🌟 Work-Based Learning Spotlight: Princess Maddagan 🌟

Senior Princess Maddagan is getting a head start on her future through a work-based learning opportunity at Wayne Bank in Cambridge City!

This experience is giving Princess the opportunity to step outside the classroom and into a real-world work environment…building skills, gaining confidence, learning what it means to be part of a team, and getting valuable experience that she can carry with her after graduation.

We asked Princess to share a little about her experience, and here’s what she had to say:

“ I am grateful for the opportunity to be working at Wayne Bank. I have learned many things and will continue to learn more. I am fortunate enough to be working with such a kind and awesome team! I hope to grow my knowledge during my time at Wayne Bank.”

We are so proud of Princess for taking advantage of this opportunity and for the work she is putting into preparing for her future. 💙

A huge thank you to Wayne Bank Cambridge City for investing in our students and giving them the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience what it’s like to be part of the workforce.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Reminder for WWS Students & Families!🇺🇸

Just a friendly reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7th, in recognition of Labor Day.

Labor Day is a federal holiday observed on the first Monday of September. It began in the late 1800s as a way to recognize and celebrate the contributions, achievements, and sacrifices of American workers. The holiday reminds us of the important role workers have played in building and strengthening our communities and our country.

We hope our WWS students, families, and staff enjoy the long weekend, get some rest, and spend time with the people who matter most! ❤️

School will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.
