Manorville Fire Dept Annual Brush Truck Training Competition The Manorville Fire Dept. host's an annual brush truck training event, Departments from all over Suffolk County come down and train against eachother..

Each year the Manorville FD host's there annual brush truck training competition, this fundraiser was established in 2013. The men & women of the Manorville FD fabricate, transport, & assembles a drill style obstacle course at veterans memorial park in calverton. We invite our surrounding fire departments to come down and train on the track were they train in efficiency. These 2 1/2 ton, 5 ton, &

brat trucks are used to fight brush fires during the dry brush season's protecting suffolk county residents & there property from fires similar to the 1995 & 2012 wildfires.There is seating available, no admission, & free parking please come on down and support these brave men and women. For the fire departments, sponsors, & public we appreciate the support over the years with out you we could have never have gotten this far.
