Today, the Calumet City ESDA team participated in Emergency Responder Helicopter Landing Zone Training alongside our public safety partners. 🚁

This hands-on training focused on establishing safe landing zones, scene safety, communication, crowd control, and coordination during medical and emergency air operations.

Trainings like this help strengthen our preparedness and ensure our team is ready to respond quickly and efficiently during critical incidents.

Attention residents and business owners—please be advised that a Freeze Watch and Frost Advisory have been issued for our area by the National Weather Service.

🌡️ WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Frost Advisory: Temperatures may drop to around 33°F, leading to frost formation overnight
• Freeze Watch: Temperatures could fall as low as 28°F late Sunday night into Monday morning

• Frost Advisory: Tonight through Sunday morning
• Freeze Watch: Late Sunday night through Monday morning
