⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER RISK EXPANDED FARTHER SOUTH IN IOWA

The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms farther south across Iowa with its latest evening update.

Thunderstorms developing to our west are expected to organize into one or more clusters and move across portions of Iowa tonight. The atmosphere remains very unstable, with enough wind shear to support organized severe thunderstorms.

💨 Damaging wind gusts are the primary concern
🧊 Large hail is also possible

We'll continue to monitor storm development and provide updates as needed tonight.

After a dry and mild Monday, thunderstorm chances develop over northern and western Iowa on Monday night. Then, severe thunderstorm and heavy rain potential returns to central Iowa on Tuesday into Tuesday night. Stay up to date with the latest forecasts this week!

THANK YOU to all that came out and participated in the Back 2 School Bash!! We had a great time and a great turnout! Big thank you to DUGAN Party Rentals, LLC that lead the way with getting this event going and all the behind the scenes leg work put in to make it what it is!! Also A big thank you to the Webster County Pork Producers for the generous donation of the meat for our meal. We tried a little different product this time around from Sawyer's Meats and we felt it was a great decision and heard some great comments on it.

Very exciting announcement from Iowa Central Community College today with the announcement of the PELL grant. This is a great opportunity for our area and the State of Iowa. Very cool to be able to be a part of this.
