Water has been restored and a Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued for all of Lacoste Avenue, JH Crews Drive, and Williams Way.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. An announcement will be made to rescind the boil water notice at that time.

Williams Way

Water is expected to be restored by 6 pm, a precautionary water boil notice will be issued.

The City of Callaway has received satisfactory bacteriological test results and the Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on September 9, 2026 for customers served by the Callaway Public Water System at the following locations has been lifted:

Donna Avenue
Spruce Court
Forest Court

The water has been tested and determined to be safe for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and all other normal uses.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while repairs were completed and water quality testing was conducted to ensure the safety of our water system.

Water has been restored and a Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued for all of Donna Avenue, Spruce Court, and Forest Court.

🚨 EMERGENCY WATER OUTAGE NOTICE 🚨

The City of Callaway is currently experiencing an emergency water outage due to a bore crew striking a water main.

The outage is currently affecting all of Donna Avenue, Spruce Court, and Forest Court. Additional addresses may also be affected as crews work to assess the situation.

Crews are working to make repairs, and water service is estimated to be restored by approximately 7:00 p.m.

⚠️ Once water service is restored, a precautionary boil water notice will be in effect for affected customers. Additional information regarding the boil water notice and confirmed affected addresses will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while crews work to restore service as quickly as possible. Please continue to monitor the City’s page and website for updates.

All of Ray Glenn Circle 6918 Ross Drive 7300 – 7313 Rogers Drive 7320 Rogers Drive 7319 – 7345 Rogers Drive

There was an emergency outage due to a contractor hitting a 6” water main located at 7305 Rogers Drive. A water outage started at 12:00 pm on Tuesday September 1, 2026.

Water has been restored and customers in the affected area may experience discolored water and/or entrained air for approximately 24 hours after the water has been restored.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. An announcement will be made to rescind the boil water notice at that time.

Due to a contractor hitting a water main line, there is currently an emergency outage for the following areas:

All of Rodgers Dr
All of Ray Glenn Cir

Rodgers Drive is closed for through traffic, from Ross Dr. to Ray Glenn Cir.

Crews are currently on site and working on repairs. We apologize for the inconvenience

The City of Callaway has received satisfactory bacteriological test results and the Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on August 24, 2026, for customers served by the Callaway Public Water System at the following locations has been lifted:

All of S. Gay Ave from Hickory Street north to Cherry Street
West side of Lannie Rowe Drive
5824 Cherry Street

The water has been tested and determined to be safe for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and all other normal uses.

Due to a city crew having to install a 6' isolation gate valve on South Gay Avenue. An planned outage took place and water has since been restored.

Customers in the affected area may experience discolored water and/or entrained air for approximately 24 hours after the water has been restored.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
