Tomorrow, kids of all ages can join us for Mill Mountain Theatre's: Pete the Cat!

Everybody's favorite guitar-playing cat takes his buddy Jimmy Biddle on a global adventure in this crowd-pleasing musical based on the hit book series.

June 17th at Westlake from 11am-12pm. Rocky Mount from 2pm-3pm.

Summer Lunchin' is back at the Franklin County Library in Rocky Mount!

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 16th through August 5th, we'll be providing FREE cold lunches and snacks for ages 1-18.

Lunch from 12pm-1pm. Snack from 3pm-3:30pm. No sign-up necessary. Just come on in!

Don't forget, our Summer Learning Kickoff Party is this Friday, June 12th!

Join us in the morning at Mary Elizabeth Park in Rocky Mount from 10:30am-12:30pm for a special show from John Austin's 24-Hour Emergency Juggling and Magic Show (at 10:30am) followed by some crafts and activities.

Then keep the festivities going in the afternoon at Westlake from 3:00pm-4:30pm with face-painting, crafts, and snacks!

Today we are sending out the BIGGEST thank you to Mrs. Cindy Jamison, who has safely transported generations of students. After 31 years of dedicated service to Franklin County Public Schools, Ms. Cindy is taking her final bus ride into retirement. We will surely miss her and wish her all the best!

Mrs. Brubaker’s class spent the year making memories with Gertie the Goose. Gertie dressed up for every special occasion, celebrated birthdays, and even joined the class for their Moving On celebration. Today, the kindergarteners were excited to discover that each of them would get to adopt a goose of their own to take home. They proudly signed their adoption cards and carefully selected their special goose. What a wonderful way to remember a year filled with learning and so many fun memories with Mrs. Brubaker and Gertie!
