Gordon County families, we have bus registration survey forms to fill out for the following students:

* New students enrolling to the school district for the first time
* Families who have recently moved residences within our school district
* 2026-2027 Pre-K student

If your child needs transportation this fall and is new, recently moved, or enrolling into Pre-K, please take a moment to fill out our survey to help the Transportation Department prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

It's important that you carefully read and agree to the policies and procedures outlined in the survey regarding bus transportation. Please note that rising Pre-K students have a different survey than Kindergarten - 12th grade students.

💗 You can’t pour from an empty cup.

So many students spend their days trying to take care of everyone and everything around them; school, sports, work, friendships, family responsibilities, and the pressure to always “keep up.” But your mental health matters too.

Rest is not laziness.
Taking breaks is not weakness.
Asking for help is not failure.
When we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others, handle challenges, and show up as our best selves.

This week, take time to refill your cup:
💧 Drink water
😴 Get enough sleep
📖 Do something you enjoy
💬 Talk to someone you trust
💚 Give yourself grace

At Sonoraville High School, we want every student to know:
You matter, and your well-being matters too.

Congratulations to the Sonoraville High School Class of 2026!

Last night’s graduation ceremony marked the beginning of a new journey for these students as they move forward into postsecondary education, careers, military service, and other exciting opportunities.

Thank you to the Phoenix Singers, led by chorus director Hannah Nelson, for sharing their talents during the ceremony. Senior Class Vice President Jasper Knight led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Student Body President Mckenna Boswell welcomed families and friends with her greeting speech. Salutatorian Morgan Guyton and Valedictorian Rushi Patel reflected on their school experiences and offered words of encouragement to their classmates, while Senior Class President Alexandra Reyes closed the ceremony with her farewell speech.

Sonoraville High School Principal Amy Stewart spoke from the heart as she recognized the potential, determination, and bright futures of these graduates. Superintendent Alice Mashburn accepted the recommendation for graduation and congratulated the Class of 2026 for their achievements.

Congratulations, Phoenix graduates! Gordon County Schools is proud of you and excited to see all that you will accomplish.
