🍂🐴 Heads Up, Folks! More Details for our 2026 Fall Wagon Train Ride! 🐴🍂

This year's event will be held at the Northwest Georgia Agriculture & Event Center in Calhoun on October 2-4, 2026

Wagon Train Rides • Friday, Oct. 2 (AM) • Saturday, Oct. 3 (AM)

*Weekend Entry Buttons • $20 per person

The newly renovated facility now features an arena, and we're planning fun shows for both Friday night and Saturday night!

We are still working on the final details and activities, so be sure to keep an eye on the Gordon County Saddle Club Wagon Train page for updates and additional event information as plans come together.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Calhoun for another memorable Fall Wagon Train Ride!

🚨 HEADS UP! 🚨

The annual Georgia Jewel Race is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 18-19, 2026.

The 100-mile race begins at the Dalton Convention Center, travels through the Dry Creek Trail System, and then loops back to Dalton.

Please be aware that runners will be using the Dry Creek trails throughout the event, and there will be increased activity at the trailhead and along the trail system during those dates.

If you plan to ride, hike, or camp at Dry Creek that weekend, we ask that you please be mindful of race participants and use extra caution while enjoying the trails.

We wish all of the Georgia Jewel participants the best of luck and hope they enjoy their time on the trails!

This is a reminder about our moonlight trail ride scheduled for this Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Dry Creek Trails!

We hope you'll join us for one of our favorite rides of the year as we ride from the Dry Creek trailhead up to the overlook.

If you have not already done so, please RSVP so we can get an accurate head count for our food order. (770-548-5956)
