Gaines Charter Township would like to thank our residents for your cooperation with the odd/even water restriction. The City of Wyoming was able to complete the work ahead of the anticipated June 15 end date. We are happy to announce the end of water restrictions. YAY!

As a reminder, Gaines Charter Township is continuing to participate in an odd/even water restriction on outdoor watering, scheduled to last until June 15. The Caledonia Sheriff’s Office (South Substation), located at the lower level parking lot of the Gaines Charter Township Office building, is now a designated Exchange Zone with the Sheriff’s Office. The area is under 24/7 video surveillance and offers a neutral location to help ensure exchanges happen safely. Whether you are completing a child custody exchange or meeting someone for an online purchase, the Exchange Zone is a neutral, monitored location for you to meet others for quick exchanges.

Division Avenue is being resurfaced between 68th Street and 76th Street. This work is anticipated to continue through the end of June. Expect delays in the area as the work is underway. We look forward to the improved road conditions this will provide.
