It makes us very sad that somebody is coming in to the library and defacing books and shelving. Drawing inappropriate pictures, derogatory signs and foul language. Some of these books are historical books of Caledonia that are irreplacable. We are monitoring these areas and the authorities will be contacted.

Friday, August 28th. We are currently offline at the library. You can checkout and return books and we will write it down to enter when we are back up and running. The patron computers are currently down and unable to access the internet. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue!

Great news! We Will be open until 5 pm (previously was 4 pm over the summer) on Friday's starting on September 11th.

While we are doing the transition and lining staff up, we will be closing at 3 pm on Friday, August 28th and Friday, September 4th. Thank you for your patience as we make the transition to a later open time.

It was an honor to be at this conference where Dolly Parton was awarded an honorary membership to the ALA. RIP Dolly Parton. She has given so much to so many both through her songs, early literacy programs and her humanitarian work. The world lost a great person today.

Remember to join us on Thursday, August 6th at 10am for a fun program with Dazzling Dave a National Yo-Yo Master. This will take place in the City Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public and for all ages!

There will be yo-yos for sale after and Dazzling Dave can teach you a few tricks!

These programs are funded by SELCO through a grant from the Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF).
