We appreciate your support and good word so so much Sunny the Leukemia Positive Semi Feral Cat , we can never thank you enough!!! To The Cats of CatNip Row Rescue & Sanctuary, thank you for entrusting us with the care of all these babies! To work with organizations across our state means a lot.

We LOVE this post so much and miss Yankee Doodle Hotdog dearly. šŸ’ž

June 3, 2026- Picture of the day

Good morning from Sunny’s dad. We recently received our sponsor updates from Cedarhill Animal Sanctuary. We sponsor three FeLV+ cats there, and it is a program very close to our hearts as we continue our mission to help change the mindset that these precious animals are better off euthanized after their diagnosis.

I wanted to introduce our little pack of FeLV+ cats. Yankee Doodle Hotdog unexpectedly passed away in January, and his place at the top of the picture symbolizes him watching over the rest of our little family from heaven.

You already know Sunny. Next are Mistletoe and Freya, who each have two pictures featured. Wilburn, the black cat, is our newest sponsored member.

When Yankee Doodle passed away, Cedarhill used the remainder of his sponsorship to help care for Lightning, a senior dog who is almost entirely blind.

Yankee Doodle, Mistletoe, and Freya were all rescued by our friend who runs The Cats of CatNip Row Rescue & Sanctuary. Because of her and Cedarhill, these once overlooked animals now have a safe place filled with love, comfort, and respect.

We thank God for that every day, and we are grateful to play even a small role in helping them. 🐾🧔

Meet Kiwi and her babies!
We were contacted by lovely people a few hours away who needed help placing Kiwi, a sweet mama who also happens to be FIV‑positive. Naturally, we said yes. Her kittens are about six weeks old now and starting to wean, which means some big next steps are coming.

Once the kittens are fully weaned, Kiwi will move to our FeLV/FIV area, and the little ones will stay together for a few weeks before we test them for FIV. If they test positive, we’ll gladly welcome four more FIV babies into our special‑care crew. If they test negative — which is our BIGGEST hope — we’re already coordinating with a local nonprofit to help place them into loving homes.

We don’t adopt out here at the sanctuary, but we’re always committed to helping and working with our community whenever we can. Kiwi is a perfect example of why we do what we do.

Everyone, meet Peanut!
Last week we received a call about a 4‑month‑old bunny who needed a new placement. Her owners did everything they could for her, but—as bunnies do—she loved chewing on everything, which isn’t ideal for apartment living. They made the difficult but loving decision to find her a safer, more suitable home… and we said yes.

Clover had been needing a friend anyway, and sometimes the hardest choices end up being the best ones. P.S. yes Clover is using Peanut as a foot stool šŸ„“šŸ˜‚

This Wishlist Wednesday, your support helps us say ā€œyesā€ to animals like Peanut who need a soft landing and a forever‑safe place to grow.

Nick — like so many of our dog residents — absolutely loves pool time.

Your support doesn’t just keep our pups cool in the summer. Those same pools are a huge help in our cat houses and for some of our smaller exotics, too.

If you’d like to help keep the splashes going, please consider donating today.
