You can stop by the library the whole month of September to check out this display.
"This display is designed to bring attention to the Slavic people who came to Southeastern Ohio in the late 19th and early 20th century to work in the mines and in other businesses to promote and support the growth of this region.
The Belle Valley Area Historical Preservation Society, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Slavic cultures who are the ancestors of many residents of this region. Our flagship project is the Slavic Cultural Center for Southeastern Ohio which will be located in the former Elevation of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church located in Belle Valley, Ohio.
This cultural center will eventually become a place for gatherings, cultural displays, and as a repository for artifacts associated with the Slavic peoples of Southeastern Ohio.
The Belle Valley Area Historical Preservation Society can be contacted through Facebook."
