CALDWELL — WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
This November, Caldwell voters will be asked to consider a 1% local sales tax to help address important needs in our community, including street improvements, fire station improvements, and other community projects.
Before Election Day, we want to make sure our residents have the opportunity to ask questions, learn the facts, and tell us what matters most to you.
📝 We’re starting by asking you to take a short community survey.
This survey is NOT a vote and is not intended to replace the decision voters will make in November. It is an opportunity for the City to hear from you about:
➡️ What improvements should be our highest priorities?
➡️ How should potential sales tax dollars be used?
➡️ What questions or concerns do you have about the proposal?
➡️ What information do you need before making your decision in November?

🏛️ COMING SOON: COMMUNITY TOWN HALL
We will also be hosting a Town Hall Meeting where we’ll take a deeper look at the proposed sales tax, including how much it could generate, what projects are being considered, how the money could be allocated, and what it means for Caldwell residents and businesses.
And most importantly — you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions.
📅 Town Hall: Wednesday October 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM Caldwell Community Building 119 E 1st Ave
Whether you already know how you feel about the proposal or you're hearing about it for the first time, we want you to be part of the conversation.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us better understand what you want Caldwell's priorities to be.
💬 Your voice matters. Your questions matter. And we want to hear them.
If you are unable to access this survey there are paper copies available at City Hall!
The City of Caldwell is seeking community input regarding local priorities, future improvements, and the potential use of local sales tax revenue.
