π Congratulations to our Early Childhood Occupations Class of 2026! π
Today we celebrate an incredible group of students who have dedicated years to learning, growing, serving others, and preparing for careers that will make a difference in the lives of children and families.
Throughout their time in our program, these students have completed countless hours of volunteer service, participated in numerous field trips and community experiences, and consistently demonstrated the compassion, professionalism, and heart that define the field of early childhood education.
Over the years, these students have completed more than 50 hours of Maine Roads to Quality professional development training and attended multiple Maine Roads to Quality workshops at Washington County Community College. They have participated in statewide professional learning opportunities, including MAEYC Birth Through Eight Conference 2 day conference, where they learned alongside educators from across Maine.
In addition to their classroom and clinical experiences, students completed Bloodborne Pathogens training, Mandated Reporter training, CPR and First Aid certification, and fulfilled the requirements for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification. They have also submitted their paperwork for their CECA credential through Maine Roads to Quality and successfully completed their NOCTI third-party assessment.
Students in our program also had the opportunity to earn up to 18 college credits through Washington County Community College and the University of Maine at Farmington while still in high school. Their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. Members of this class have been recognized through scholarships, awards, and early acceptance programs at colleges and universities throughout Maine.
Beyond the credentials and accomplishments, what makes this group truly special is the impact they have had on our program and our community. Through years of volunteering, mentoring, serving children and families, and representing our program with pride, they have left a lasting mark on everyone they have worked with. Their kindness, professionalism, and commitment to making a difference have touched countless lives.
We are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved and the future you are creating for yourselves. Thank you for the heart you have poured into this program, the children you have impacted, and the example you have set for those who will follow in your footsteps.
This class has shown that success is measured not only by the credentials earned, but by the lives touched along the way.
The future of education is brighter because of you. We cannot wait to see where your journey takes you next. β€οΈ Mrs. Re*****on
