The Cadyville Beach is open for all as a Waterfront Park and Boat/Kayak Launch again this summer. NO SWIMMING will be allowed. Lifeguards were in short supply this year...

Hours are open dawn to dusk. Come enjoy a sunset!

For 2020, the Cadyville Beach will remain a waterfront park. Boats, kayaks, and paddle boards may launch from the beach, but there will be no swimming allowed at any time. Families are encouraged to have picnics and enjoy the beach as you normally would. Please, always follow safety guidelines and remain physically distant.

Spring is here. We know people are itching to get in some outdoor recreation. Sun and warmer temps will, despite COVID-19, draw people to our lakes, river and streams. Keep in mind the Lake Champlain water temp takes months to warm up despite the warm air temps we are now enjoying.

As of this weekend Lake Champlain has only reached 46 degrees which is very dangerous and can be Immediately Life-threatening. Immersion in water at this temp can quickly bring on hyperventilation, total loss of breathing and muscle control.

Always wear a life jacket.

We are following the lead of New York State Parks & Historic Sites and closing all Town playgrounds, athletic fields and sport courts. We are still encouraging individual recreation opportunities but trying to stop group congregating. Please folks, this is in everyone’s best interest-consider you friends & families and their safety.

COVID-19 UPDATE: For the safety of all visitors and to stop the spread of COVID-19, all State Park playgrounds, athletic courts, and sporting fields are CLOSED.

Remember: When visiting a park it should be for a solitary nature break, avoid all group activities and maintain at least 6' of space between others. If you arrive at a park and crowds are forming, choose a different park, a different trail or return another time/day to visit.
