The Board Office will be closed for the holidays from December 23, 2024 to January 1, 2025.

We will reopen on January 2, 2025.

Election Day is November 5, 2024. The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The deadline for voter registration to be eligible to vote in the November 5 General Election is 9:00 p.m. on October 7, 2024.

Citizens may register to vote by the following methods:
1. Online at voteohio.gov
2. In person at the Harrison County Board of Elections, our office will be open until 9:00 p.m. on October 7, 2024.
3. Registering at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles
4. Registering at Jobs and Family Services
5. Mail a completed voter registration form to 538 N Main St. Suite B Cadiz, OH 43907.

Voter registration forms may be printed from the Secretary of State’s website, picked up at the Board of Elections office, or the Board of Elections will mail one to you by request. Our office phone is 740-942-8866.
To register you will need to provide the following:
• Ohio driver’s license number, Ohio identification card number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number
• Name
• Address
• Date of Birth

Our office is receiving phone calls about the Absentee Ballot applications being mailed to Ohio voters.

If you receive an application in the mail and have already sent in an application, we do not need any additional applications. Voters will only be sent one ballot per voter regardless of how many applications are sent to our office by that voter.

Absentee ballots will be mailed beginning October 8, 2024.
