Need some more ideas of how to find free books?

- Swap with a friend or borrow from their collection.
- Find a Little Free Library and take or leave a book.
- Use a library book club set.
- Browse the free cart or donation piles.
- Sign up for monthly Adult Book Bags and get a free book to keep.
- Flip through a kids book at the doctor’s office.
- Get a wrapped Blind-Date-with-a-Book.
- Sit in a bookstore until you finish a book.
- Go to your local library and get a library card to check some out!

It's SUMMER READING SEASON! 😎Check out the events this week's events at the Cadillac Wexford Public Library branches! June 1st through June 6th. 📆

Here are the Unearth A Story: Summer Reading event highlights happening this week! See the events tab on our page for more details:

- Plant Swap: 6/1 from 3-5pm at the Mesick Public Library. Ages 16+
- Chunky Bear Book Party: 6/1 from 4-6pm at Chunky Bear Coffee Roasters. Ages 12+
- Unearth A Story Kids Kickoff: Dinosaurs: 6/6 from 10am-12pm at the Cadillac Wexford Public Library. Families welcome (geared toward ages 4-10)
- Pasta Paleontology: 6/6 from 10am-12pm at the Mesick Public Library. Ages 5-10

Summer Reading begins for all ages in just a couple days! Get in on the reading fun and earn prizes for all ages. Check out this list of events going on next week June 1-6 where we Unearth A Story! 🪏

Monday, June 1st we have our Plant Swap at the Mesick Public Library for ages 16+ from 3-5 PM AND our Adult/Teen Chunky Bear Book Party at !

Saturday, June 6th, kickoff summer reading for the kids at our Pasta Paleontology (Mesick): Unearth A Story Summer Reading at the Mesick Public Library for ages 5-10, and in Cadillac at our Dinosaur Summer Reading Program Kids Kickoff CWPL , which is geared toward ages 4-10 but families are welcome.
