Hi everyone! We would like to apologize for the recent video promoting our Unearth Cadillac’s Story: True Crime & Dark History Cemetery Tour.

While we wanted to display the beautiful Maple Hills Cemetery to encourage others to step into the history themselves, we should have considered the feelings of those with loved ones resting there. Cemeteries are not marketing backdrops, and we should have portrayed Maple Hills with the reverence it deserves. The comments calling us out for this were entirely correct to do so, and we appreciate you keeping us accountable to respecting ALL members of our community.

The Cadillac Wexford Public Library has the utmost respect for the deceased, which is why we created the event in the first place: to honor their stories.

I (admin) am incredibly sorry for the thoughtless mistake, and I promise to make more careful decisions in the future!

This post is in apology for the insensitive marketing video. The actual event—Unearth Cadillac's Story: True Crime & Dark History Cemetery Tour—is continuing as planned Monday, June 22nd at 7pm at Maple Hills Cemetery.

27 teens arrived at the Cadillac Library last Friday ready to eat! After a blind taste test of all the cheese pizza options, they declared the 2026 winner.
