What an incredible season for our Tennis Shoe Crew!

We had nearly 125 students from Franklin Elementary School, Forest View Elementary, Lincoln Elementary School and Mackinaw Trail Middle School participating in our after-school running club.

One of the highlights was gifting each student a brand new pair of running shoes - it was a memorable and motivating experience for everyone involved!

We closed out the season participating in the Rotary STRIDE for S.T.R.I.V.E. 5K on Memorial Day, where all that hard work, teamwork, and dedication truly came to life.

This video captures just a small glimpse of the energy, effort, and joy these kids brought to the season. We’re proud of every single CREW student who participated, and we owe a big thank you to all of our Tennis Shoe Crew coaches that supported our kids along the way!

If you're looking for a fun family night out this weekend - head to Mackinaw Trail Middle School for the 19th annual Detroit Lions Legends vs Cadillac Firefighters basketball game! Tip-off is at 7:00pm. Concession stand sales benefit our CHS band!

CAPS Clubhouse and Viking Learning Center will be closed Monday, April 20, due to area flooding.

All other CAPS schools remain open and operating. Families are encouraged to check travel routes, as there are multiple detours in the Cadillac area.

Our thoughts are with families and members of the community during this challenging time.

As we wrap up March and head into Spring Break, we want to share some highlights from our winter season.

We had a wide range of activities - from sports & recreation, to STEM, and art - our younger CREW kids stayed active and engaged all winter. Our middle school students dove into multiple woodshop classes, learning practical skills and creating projects they could be proud of. And 4th-8th graders had an amazing season out at Caberfae!

Now we're heading into the spring season with a full schedule and even more opportunities for our students! We have a fun lineup of art workshops, a brand new Golf CREW launching at MTMS, and our biggest program of the year, Tennis Shoe CREW, returning to all four buildings.
