🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Walker Road & Kay Road Road Closure

WALKER ROAD AND KAY ROAD TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Due to a drainage improvement project, Walker Road and Kay Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, September 14.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely complete drainage improvements along Walker Road and Kay Road and provide enough space to complete the work safely and efficiently.

During the closure, motorists will not be able to travel through the work areas. Detour options will be available. Drivers are encouraged to review the attached Walker Road/Kay Road detour map before traveling through the area and select the route that best accommodates their destination.

Motorists traveling near the work zone should reduce speed, stay alert for construction workers and equipment, follow all posted traffic control signage, and allow additional time for travel.

Peach County appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while these necessary drainage improvements are completed.

Quick Update:
All trash pick-up for next week will be delayed by one day due to the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 7th. Monday's usual pick-up will be done on Tuesday. Tuesday on Wednesday and so on.
