VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

SPRING CLEAN UP DAY

Saturday, May 19, 2018 is CLEAN-UP PICKETT COUNTY DAY. We encourage volunteers to help pick up trash around their neighborhoods. The Pickett County Executive’s Office will furnish trash bags to all the volunteers for the event. Please come by the Pickett County Executive’s Office at the Court House on Friday, May 18, 2018 to pick up the trash bags. We encourage every citizen to participate!

Also, we are having a Free Dump Day for household trash only (no commercial or business dumping, no construction debris and no tires) at the Landfill with extended hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event is for individuals, please do not overload your haulers, they do have to pay.

This Clean-Up Day is a campaign to Keep Pickett County Beautiful in conjunction with Keep Tennessee Beautiful. If anyone has any questions they can call the County Executive's Office at (931) 864-3798.

Recycle! Reduce! Reuse!

This event is sponsored by TDOT Litter Grant Program, Great American Clean-up and the Pickett County Executive’s Office.
