is a New Jersey Not-for-Profit 501(c)(3) corporation. As operators of the interpretive tours at Waterloo Village, our organization is part of a collaborative effort put forth by a team of non-profit groups to manage, interpret and restore the historic resources at Waterloo Village.

History Lives at Waterloo Village. The Smith general store was likely built around the year 1831. The same year the first boat took a trip on the Morris Canal. Building the store at Waterloo was one of many clever ways the Smith family developed their property.
