Cayce fire department wants to wish everyone a happy Fourth of July and just as a reminder if you have any kind of fire this evening to keep an eye on it because it’s dry with us not getting any rain lately It will be very easy for them to spread and become uncontrolled, please put out any fires before going to bed and just a reminder for everybody to have fun and stay safe.

Until further notice, Marshall County is under a burn ban until November 30th. This ban may be shortened or extended depending on rainfall conditions. Please do not burn as the entire county is suffering from drought conditions. There are a few exceptions; The Mississippi Forestry Commission, Certified Burn Managers, and commercial contractors. All of which will have to work with the county fire coordinator to accomplish. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your local fire department.
